    I've never known government to clean up abandoned property. They have a tax sale or cite the owner and fine them, but they don't clean it up unless they take possession.

    What sort of "racial stuff" are you referring to? I still see a lot of comments here about racial issues, and don't see anything offensive, and rarely did prior to the change. I didn't realize the old Chat was a white supremacist site.

    I'm not sure if a "civil right" always trumps a "religious right", but I imagine the SCOTUS will end up deciding. The end result will probably be that a lot of bakeries will stop making wedding cakes, crazy as that sounds.

    I don't think the government can legally prevent bigoted speech or opinions, but they can take action if they consider you are violating someone's civil rights. But I'm not familiar with what happened with the cake incident.

    Around 1980, I was riding by... ...the Athens Holiday Inn and on the marquee it said "Welcome Carl Perkins". I pulled in and drove through the lot and Carl was sitting on the hood of a car with a nice looking young lady. I almost stopped to try to speak to him, but he looked busy.
