25% increase is huge. Full time = 40K per year w/o overtime. Can see it spreading throughout US.in response to the $20/hr law.

I suspect this will simply usher in the robots. Already don’t need cashiers, cooks are next.in response to the $20/hr law.

I am going to have to congratulate Joe on being two steps ahead of me. I hate to give him credit for anything. I said in my parody of why I would vote for him that we could expect 30 dollar fast food meals in our future if he is reelected. I was wrong. We are going to see that before his first term is over.I saw a story on the $20 Big Mac. $20 for a fast food hamburger
(unrelated) And gas is well over $5/gal again where I am. At least since last weekend.in response to the $20/hr law.

The story I saw said this should cause a 20 CENTS per burger. Of course they will see a $5 increase and blame it on Newsom.I saw a story on the $20 Big Mac. $20 for a fast food hamburger
I concur with the highlighted portion of your response, cooperate greed is at a all time high. Regardless, Newsom needs to get his financial house in order. Cutting $ 40 billion or so when a legislature doesn't want to cut anything will be very difficult. The story I saw said this should cause a 20 CENTS per burger. Of course they will see a $5 increase and blame it on Newsom.
Tough business, I certainly wouldn’t want to be in it. Last I looked 80 -90% don’t make it to the first 5 years.Hot take: the implosion of fast food restaurants is good for America
That's surprising, since I understand corporate greed is at an all time high.Tough business, I certainly wouldn’t want to be in it. Last I looked 80 -90% don’t make it to the first 5 years.
I hope it costs those dumbasses 100 bucks for a cheeseburger.in response to the $20/hr law.

The Socialist Republic of California deserves it....I hope it costs those dumbasses 100 bucks for a cheeseburger.
The coming every 200 year Cicadas apocalypse should be welcomed there....They want ppl to eat bugs.
Yes they do. Even at 20 bucks an hour those fast food workers will still spit on their food, so we can take comfort in that. I was in Burger King getting lunch one day and I saw this kid slouching around behind the counter with a bunch of french fries stuck to his shoes, shirt tail out, looking pissed off at the world. I happened to need a clean up guy in my business, so I asked him “You want out of this dump?” And he said f*** yeah, so I hired him. He quit on the spot and I had him swinging a mop about an hour later. Bout a month after that I was back in Burger King for lunch and another guy asked me, “Hey, you the guy who hired the guy who jacked off in the milk shake machine?”The Socialist Republic of California deserves it....
Watch out for the Gatorade bottles..Yes they do. Even at 20 bucks an hour those fast food workers will still spit on their food, so we can take comfort in that. Well, we didn’t have a milk shake machine, so I felt pretty safe but the rest of the employees gave him hell over it.
It was in the 90s. I can tell you the mechanics kept a close eye on him.Watch out for the Gatorade bottles..
I'd love to see the math on that one.The story I saw said this should cause a 20 CENTS per burger. Of course they will see a $5 increase and blame it on Newsom.
