Traded some messages with Woodyard this morning about his official visit.
"Official visit was a special weekend hanging out with all my guys," Woodyard said. "Spending time with the guys that are committed and the recruits was great! We got a feel for what it’s going to be like when we get there."
Woodyard had Malaki Starks as his host. He also focused plenty of his recruiting efforts on Williams Nwaneri and Dylan Stewart.
He also had two other defensive backs taking official visits with him in Demello Jones and Ellis Robinson.
"You can feel it," Woodyard said. "This class is going to be real special. The bond we have is getting stronger every day. Hanging out together this weekend solidified that. We had a lot of fun just hanging out together."
"You can tell on our group texts that this class is going to be great but when we all get around each other you can really feel it," Woodyard said. "There’s something really special about it. The coaches are doing a great job of putting this class together piece by piece. It’s not just individuals but families."
