It's not as bad as it sounds. He basically got to live tax free for years and build a fortune of over $20 billion.

I can assure you, he's not the only one on both sides that uses all loopholes they can. And he's one of the poorer billionaires. It would be interesting to see how many (both sides) are now having to pay up or find other ways to avoid by 2017. The last paragraph was verbatim almost what Romney said when trying to get out of releasing those 2 yrs worth of tax returns. He is one of the poorer wealthy though. I always suspected he didn't pay any because of losses in the recession. Perfectly legal. Just looks bad. Here's Forbes article about Soros, lists (in a link) his charitable donations(interesting) . I'm with you bwarren I'd be glad to pay. How much money do you need? At that age especially? You can't spend it all.

my point was that he spends millions on the liberal agenda ,including the " tax more " group; but looks for ways to dodge paying . I have no problem with his legal tax structure or wealth, just his socialist agenda and the fact that his groups want to " tell us how to live; but it doesn't apply to him " .
