PSA to my online family here

As we go into this HUGE game for the trajectory of our program this weekend, let's take a step back and think about where we are and where we have been.

Item 1...I absolutely do not like how we are trending and where we stand right now. Is it coaching? Injuries? Fit? Culture? Very few of us, if any, know the answers. Knowing our head man I feel pretty confident he is leaving no stones unturned in trying to get it fixed.

Item 2...do not fall into the trap of "we can't" or "we won't". If you think we can't or we won't, you didn't pay attention to what we did against Texas and Clemson. Arguably two of the best performances put forth in college football this year.

Item 3...without getting into the arena speech that triggers a lot of folks. Let's be very careful questioning the intent or the effort of our players. Without a doubt Ole Miss was one of our poorest performances in the CKS era. That said, this team has fought back time and time again this year when they could have mailed it in due to injuries, the schedule or other bad luck. Most of us have no idea how much effort goes into getting your mind, body and emotions ready to fight against SEC level teams every week.

Item 4...if the season's goals are quashed Saturday (which I don't think they will be), let's take a moment to reflect on what some of these older guys helped us do.
--Two national championships
--Undefeated (so far) home record since 2019
--49 wins in the last 4 years with a chance to get into the low-mid 50's.
--Three consecutive undefeated regular seasons...that simply DOES NOT HAPPEN in the SEC.

Now let's go whip the evverlivvinshitake outta some Knedbillies and keep this train moving in the right direction!

As always...Go Dawgs!

You never know…..

So I’m in Suches,Ga looking for an address where I’m going to drill a well for a customer. I’m having trouble finding the site (1) it’s in the boonies and (2) I have no phone service. Finally I stop at this old house for help. There are Georgia signs and flags all around which is standard here in this area. I knock on the door and this gentleman comes out to see me. After he gives me directions I thank him, as I’m leaving I say I see you are a Dawg fan and I am too. He says, well my nephew is the starting safety at Georgia. I’m talking to Dan Jackson’s uncle. I find out later he’s the pilot for the CEO of a major health company. Obviously this his getaway from the hustle and bustle of things. Great guy and as he said, Go Dawgs.

Kirby was asked about black jerseys

before the Mississippi State game. Remember he had been disappointed in the fans against Auburn? So he was asked about something to rev up the atmosphere.

"I don't think that has one thing to do with the fan base. I just think that's hokey pokey. I mean, it's great for recruiting. We may do it sometime. I'm not anti-doing it. But that shouldn't do anything for your atmosphere. Some of the best places I've played in great atmosphere, they never change their uniforms. They're traditionalists. And if it takes changing the uniform to get people fired up, then I'm at the wrong place."

Does anybody know the reasoning on why hardly any of the sec’s non conference games are on SEC network?

Once conference play starts, the sec network always has a game on if the sec is playing. In Non- Conf, they barely show any. Is that worked into the contract with espn to try and boost up their streaming services? Hard to believe tomorrow’s night game vs Tech has to be streamed. Seems like volleyball and soccer stuff are on sec network during b-ball game times right now.
