But is "no tax on tips" really the highest priority? Is that the first thing he should work on in Jan 2025? He's a politician....of course he's gonna get ridiculed. It's an occupational hazard...now that he has started laying out some agenda items we get to critique him on things other than him being a felon.
Can he though? Some of the items mentioned weren't close to being completed in term 1. Why should we expect him to execute on them now when he likely doesn't have House or Senate if he wins?

Cash tips are not an issue since most don’t go reported anyway. Now, most people pay tips on a credit card where taxes can’t be avoided.

How is it any different than lowering a tax rate on a specific bracket, with the exception thsy it specifically targets the service sector, aka non white collar workers? Seems to be even better than an across the board reduction in taxes, no? A tax free exchange from wealthier to less wealthy and non college educated? What’s not to like? Let them keep more of their money rather than give to the government to spend?
Dems are elitists. They are generally the worst tippers as well because the people who serve them are beneath them in their social caste system. They are also amazingly ignorant of economics.
