Bonhoeffer is a heretic who denied the resurrection of Jesus.

First, even if that is true it does not take away all that he did for the church in opposing the Nazis. Second, I do not think that is actually what he said. The quote I read was "If the resurrection could be verified by history, it would render faith superfluous." He was questioning whether it could be proven but not saying it did not happen.
