Missed tackles, bad angles, missed assignments…folks this is on coaching and development. The Defense was suppose to be the strength of this team and they couldn’t cover my grandma with a blanket. The Offense has zero players that can take over a game (missing a Gurley, Chubb, Pickens, Bowers…and yes a Bennett IV). The OL was suppose to be the best in the Nation, and they haven’t been able to dominate any game to this point.
This loss comes down to coaching and preparedness, and the rest of the season and playoffs hopes will come down to that as well. The good news is, Kirby’s TEAMS has proven to get better as the season goes along. We will just have to see how the players develop and respond the rest of the way.
