1.) At running back put Edwards in bubble wrap, we can't afford him getting hurt, and don't play Milton. Give their reps to Bell and get him up to speed, also play the walk on's heavily.
2.) Stating the obvious, insist on Beck making downfield throws and throwing into some tight windows. He has to gain confidence that his guys will make the catch in a one on one, this is the perfect game to do this.
3.) If we have a 4th and one at the 30, don't go for it, kick the field goal. Lets give Woodring a chance to build his confidence. But if that's not happening, then we need to give Zirkel his chance. A lot of guys can hit a free throw in an empty gym, but can't hit the rim in a full one. I realize that Woodring is a freshman and that there needs to be some patience. But we can't go into the SEC, and especially the playoffs, not knowing if we can make chip shots. Dabo Sweeney has a similar situation with his freshman all world kicker. This week he actually brought back a former back up walk-on kicker that was finishing up some course work on line, while living in Charleston, to take over the job. Apparently this is legal, I guess sometimes you do what you have to do.
