through a fellow poster. Being on here during 9/11 was something that I will never forget. You got news faster here than any other source. It made us a family. Jamoie's death. Other tragedies. Birthdays. Births of new Bullpups. You can't explain that to anyone. How does the refresh button work on Signing Day in Topic View? If it was up to me I'd hold NOBU up and let him kick Topic View in the Thorax. Here's hoping the relationships survive. I'm worried. It's been a good run.

ya - 9/11 showed that the chat moves faster than any lone

news source. lots of eyballs and most communicating with each other FOR each other.

Non-chatters will never understand the chat.
The rafting trip resulted in some friendships that i cherish more than just about anything else. The tailgating meetups, the night we went to the NATS-Merryland Thursday night "football" game, the UGA-gnats baseball game meetups.....the downtown lunches and after work BEERS....

Family. Non-family never really gets family and its fruitless to try to explain.

That was an eye-opener day. A sociological phenomenon

A true free market of information. Chats was literally the single best source of information in the world that day. Just incredible. I felt privileged to be part of it on 9/11.

This place unharnessed the power of the Internet in creating associations and connections that are truly profound.

It's pretty awful to now tear that up. Just lazy disregard for something special.
It's pissing me off the more I think about that mindset.
"Nobody" is using thread except "you" pissants.

Spoken like a true socialist at heart....

You want somebody else to,pay for whatever you want .

The whole world is moving into a 'conform or die' mentality

so its not hard to believe that it is happening here too...it just focking sux.

The new Ignore Feature means no one will ever read your posts again

There's a stake being driven deep into your filthy black heart in 2 more days.

Enjoy this last remaining time of being unloosed.

Why would rivals spend their money to juice up a free board for

A bunch of welfare babies?

I would think free boards provide a good source of potential...

customers for pay boards. Sitting ducks from a marketing standpoint. Plus there are the advertising clicks.

I pay by the way as a way of saying thank you for the forum. The content is very good, but that's not what I pay for.

would not expect you to listen nor have the capacity to understand

so it is a waste of time.

Enjoy your last 2 days before your next handle needs to be made!

Wonder if the 80/20 rule applies here? Meaning 20 percent of registered

Users make 80 percent of the posts? Seems like it might even be 95/5 here. Always see the same 20-30 handles. Doubt Yahoo caves on thread view for 20-30 posters. Sucks but that's how I see it. I've been here for 17 years ...would truly hate to see it go away. Always entertaining and I feel like I know half of the users personally even tho I've only met a few.
