[Edit for clarity: those games being considered games against good SEC defenses... Bama, Mizzou, Tenn, Vandy]

I just needed to post this. Reading various threads talking about our team and listening to so many folks on the radio talk about our team, I've repeatedly heard that our D needs to be better for us to win in the SEC... and I agree with this point.

HOWEVER, what seems to keep going over a lot of people's heads is that our Offense is scoring less than 2 touchdowns per game over the last four games against solid SEC competition. No offense (pun intended), but even the best defenses in history usually need a little more help than that....

We have several issues with our team right now. But our offensive production, or the lack thereof, is the biggest issue. We can't look at the final scores and see 30+ points and say we scored enough to win. We did score enough to win but our Offense didn't contribute very much to that scoring or at least not nearly enough to state that they delivered on the one thing that Offense is supposed to do...score points.

Defensive team scores and special teams scores are gravy. Your O should be proficient enough to give your team a fighting chance in most games and, in the last four games, our O has not been good enough to win. It doesn't mean that our D has been good enough but it is our O that is downright scary bad at the moment.

In 20 years of following the Dawgs closely, I have never seen a worse team on Offense at UGA than right now....

I still have hope but I think we need to place the focus where it belongs... Every part of our team can get better but we need the most improvement to come from the O.
