141-50/.738

It is what it is ....best winning % EVER in Athens

LOL! Since you love posting that stat which is meaningless, here's a few more.

- Since 2008, Richt is 12-26 against teams that finished ranked.
- Since 2008, Richt 3-12 against SEC teams that finished ranked.
- Richt routinely wets the bed in big games.
- Richt hasn't won an SEC title in a decade.

Deal with those facts.

And that is what matters.

how'd the fellas before him do? how'd the rest of the conference do? how did the teams in the power conferences do?

iirc he's one of the winningest coaches in the nation during his tenure

since 2008? if you're gonna go back 8 years , why not just include the entire record ?

Because it's a trend. What you do in the most important games is what matter most. Racking up an impressive record against cupcakes, out of conference opponents, and bad SEC teams doesn't amount to much. Richt and this program have regressed tremendously.

It's suits their agenda with out including any context.

Yeah, the agenda is that Richt stinks in the games that mean the most, and changing coaches every year hasn't changed that. The agenda is this team is not going to win another title of any kind with Richt at the helm. Richt should have owned the East these last 5-6 years with Tennessee and Florida being down. He hasn't.

.738 is a trend...and it's unpossible that it's against only cupcakes, fwiw

You are as blind as can be. If you can't see the last 7 years under Richt have been substantially worse than the first seven years, I don't know what to tell you. How in the hell can you not see 12-26 against ranked teams and 3-12 against ranked SEC teams as anything other than abysmal at a place like UGA. How many times does UGA and Richt have to wet the bed in big games and get blown out before you see the light of day. You're a fool. No other top football program would put up with that crap.

Here's a simple question. I realize you're not a UGA supporter, you're a Richt supporter, but what has to happen for you to agree that Mark Richt needs to go. I won't even go into all of the off the field issues over the years with Richt, with two more players getting in trouble. How bad does UGA have to get before you think UGA needs to make a change?

Tom Landry was fired to make way for some college coach that warded over thugs.

Certainly changed the Cowboys trend from Down to up.

At least Beamer knew it was time. Look at the Perterno mess as it pertains to staying too long...

I'm real sorry that your mama and daddy didn't raise you any better than what I'm reading .... You should be ashamed for yourself and them

actually its not a trend, its a pct. for a 15 year span. Now, to find a trend, you look for YOY up or down and bar graph it for ease if you wish. In his job, at his money...his trend would be depressing, it would start somewhat high, then get really high in 2nd year, fluctuate a bit, but stay relatively high. Until 2008, when it would start going down, a blip in 2012 of high, but then continue to regress.

LOL! Since you don't have an argument that can refute basic facts, you resort to some BS about my mama and daddy, who you have never met and know nothing about. That pretty much sums your history on this board.

Exactly! He doesn't even know what a trend is. Like I said, he is a Richt supporter and not a UGA supporter. I would have loved nothing more than for Richt to win a couple of national titles and a half a dozen SEC titles, and retire on his own. The problem is that didn't happen and it's not going to happen. Richt has under performed more than any coach in America considering what he has at his disposal, at one of the best jobs in the country. The SEC East has been a dump for the last 5 years and we've done absolutely nothing with it. How anyone can claim a man making 4 million dollars a year should keep his job based on 12-26 record against ranked teams over the last 7 years is beyond me.

I have not called you any names. There has been no nastiness. You simply have no argument and you resorted to talking about my parents. From now on stick to the discussion and leave my parents out of it.

The first derivative of his performance function has a negative slope. In other words it is decreasing at a decreasing rate of change.
