It’s been an amazing run. But the reality is that Kirby and staff must go back to the recruiting game and rebuild the lines of scrimmage and play the portal game much differently and more aggressively. The sport of college football is nothing like 2016 when Kirby was hired…and we’ll never be able to dominate like years’ past. Our fan base has to look differently at the regular season and understand that it’s about making the top 12 and peaking at the end of the season. Right now, we need to regroup as alumni and fans and blast Tennessee out of Sanford Stadium. Just like golf, you can’t let the last shot impact the next one. Ole Miss is better than us this year…get over it. Let’s get ready to make Tennessee suffer with the loudest and most obnoxious crowd ever. We’ll talk about the bigger picture for the program later. Get ready …every team in the SEC wants to be Georgia and they’ve built their rosters to compete (and it’s working). Dawgs will rebound….for next week. Will you?
