but the most intriquing for me is having Eason coming in for his first year and perhaps having Chubb for his last year. If Chubb has a season this year and next year along the same as this past year it is hard to imagine him not leaving early for the draft after the 2016 season.
I know a lot will depend on how the qb who takes over in the drivers seat delivers and develops. It is hard to imagine having the talent with Gurley and not winning an SECC albeit we did come as close as we possibly could against bama. I know Gurley's injuries and suspension did not help. With that recent past I would hate to see Chubb come in and us not win at least one SECC.
One positive is Eason is coming in early-(January 2016) which will give him a head start. He seems to be very mature and to have a good head on his shoulders so maybe he can adjust and be more prepared to compete for the starting job, and with having Chubb, will not have the pressure of carrying the team. Although perhaps the best case scenario is for the qb for 2015 becoming competent enough to lead the team and let Eason redshirt...but only time will tell.
