I spoke with Brooks briefly after Thomas County Central’s state championship win last night.
It’s obviously early in his recruitment but you can tell Brooks LOVES Georgia. He couldn’t keep a huge smile off his face while we were talking about the Bulldogs.
Brooks is close with current Bulldog Gabe Harris, who played at TCC before transferring to IMG Academy. The two speak often, with Harris praising Georgia’s coaching as the reason to chose the Bulldogs.
Speaking of Harris, Brooks feels he could end up playing a similar position as Harris in Georgia’s defense.
Brooks plans to be back in Athens this spring.
