My family and I attended the funeral service today for Jeff Dantzler’s wife, Emily, who recently passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. It was an incredible service and a beautiful tribute to her life.
One thing that really stuck with me was the reminder to always keep your faith in God, no matter the odds, and never underestimate the impact you can have on others simply by being kind and loving. Something that I hope to be much better at as I continue through life.
It was good to see so many familiar faces today, though I wish it had been under better circumstances. JD means a lot to our family, and our hearts still ache for him. I can’t imagine the pain of losing your spouse at such a young age.
Please keep praying for him—and let’s keep cheering on our Diamond Dawgs all the way to Omaha. That would mean the world to him.
