Georgia’s secondary room now:

All-American safety Malaki Starks
Nation’s No. 1 safety KJ Bolden
Nation’s No. 1 cornerback Ellis Robinson
5-star cornerback Julian Humphrey
13-game starter Daylen Everette
Nation’s No. 5 safety Joenel Aguero
New starter Daniel Harris

Seeing that the market will pay over a million a year for a safety in college, Georgia fans should appreciate KJ Bolden for taking a lot less than some of the offers he had on the table. Not all will make the kind of money that Downs was offered. Very few in fact. But some. And Bolden could be in that talk.

It was revealed Friday that new safeties coach and co-defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson will be making 1.3 million a year. He turned down the chance to be the Alabama DC and the 2.5 million he would likely have been paid. He too should be appreciated for that. In the long run, I think it turns out great for him.

Speaking of TRob, this is a new world. If UGA had matched the Ohio State offer, Caleb Downs would be making close to the same as his coach. I get that happens in the NFL, but it is new to college football. Well the legal part of it is.
