Moorehouse played great defense. Especially on our two main scorers. And the focus on our two main scorers opened up the shots for the others.
Their full court press was very good and they used it a bunch. Not just one time a game like we often do.
Moorehouse players were quick as lightning.
They also had a few very talented kids.
Did we play our best? No. But I think they had more to do with it that us.
I was really impressed with the Moorehouse head coach. The things he was telling his players was impressive and would make me want to play great for that man.
It was nice to see our bench shoot so well. But I was not surprised. We have a bunch of players who can score. You just have to cut them loose and allow them to play.
Their quickness, great passing, ball movement, spacing, and good hands catching the ball gave our man to man defense fits. As it should.
They also caught every pass using two hands. What a great idea!
You can tell when Fox really wants to win a game. He plays a bunch of zone defense. We played it only one trip down the floor last night if I remember correctly? But he also knew we could win last night without it.
