Would be appreciated…..

First I wanted to tell all of you thank you so much for your prayers and condolences following my dad’s passing on June 6th. We did a private viewing with my family last week which was really tough but I’m glad I went through with it. Back home in Georgia now preparing for his funeral.

Does anyone out there have any advice on losing a loved one? I am feeling a world of sadness, grief, depression etc. this is my first time losing someone this close to me. My grandparents died when I was much younger and honestly was too young and immature to understand that situation. Any advice would be appreciated, I plan on speaking to a counselor at my church regularly as I navigate this. Losing my dad has really devastated me. When I hear taps played at his funeral I may lose it all together. (He was a retired captain in the US Army 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment)

Thank you all and God Bless.
