A little something for you kamala voters wanting govt to take over our health care

As you would imagine with anything run by a government, it is ripe with fraud. Walz got scammed for 250 mil for school lunch deliveries, can you imagine the fraud with free healthcare?

It totally is because of a bad system. Government controlled entities are never efficient or cost effective. They are needed in some areas and medical is not one where it is needed. You lose oversight and innovation and you are left with waste of mediocre at best results.
Medicare works because it doesn't employ the doctors or own the hospitals. We don't want a takeover of the health system just a single payer, not a single provider like the UK.

Well, that's how it always starts. Once the "single payer" forces prices down, you disincentive doctors and medical companies from building hospitals in non-profitable areas and you will necessarily get less medical care. Then what happens is people scratch their heads and wonder why. Then they scream the government needs to build and run all of the hospitals. So, you get what you have in the UK which is single provider.
In addition, fewer of the brilliant doctors go into medicine so you get lower quality care as well, if you can get in to see them....which you can't.

I have friends in various countries with government run healthcare and all but one of them hate it. They were amazed at the beautiful hospitals we have in the US. The one is a young guy who isn't old enough to need much healthcare so he hasn't had to experience the full joy of socialized medicine. He will.
