When we won against UNC… momentum swung back and forth, we were down and it took a 4th quarter comeback and holding on to win. We weren’t used to seeing a Georgia team come back and win in such fashion
You know how the story went tonight. This team, unlike its predecessors, generated runs. We had to earn runs all weekend. But tonight in particular, we came up big when it mattered most. We left a lot of guys on base, which would usually be the nail in our coffin. Really love how this team played and how our seniors came through in such big moments
Another, unrelated point: how about the atmosphere at Foley? Crowd was great all game and turned it up another notch in the last 3 innings. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a crowd like that at Foley. And shoutout to whoever was running the sound/music… a switch was flipped from being a neutral site to a home game! They saved The Stroke for the perfect moment!
