I am not making this statement in regards Slayton but as a general assessment of today's culture. Since when did a man's word become to mean absolutely nothing. I'm committed but I will decide on signing day if I am still committed. Da*m what in the world does that mean. I was raised if you gave your word to be be somewhere your a$$ better be there 15 minutes early. These young men seem to just casually toss their commitment around with no idea they are giving there word to be at the college of their choice. This is the by god United States of America (apple pie, chevys, and john Wayne) and man's word should stand for something.
