Both are equally difficult to take, but for some different reasons. Bama because it was a home game in which the Dawgs were favored with an opportunity to make a statement that the days of mailing it in when the lights are brightest were over. Tennessee because the team just looked flat out unprepared for both adversity and success. Blowing that type of lead against a team with inferior talent is just unacceptable. It's as if the coaching staff has zero answers if the game doesn't go exactly as anticipated. Pruitt's defenses look lost more often than not, and frighteningly incapable of stopping a repetitive play. How is it that the team can't get any pressure on the QB with 3 first round pass rushers? Offensively, the QB position is killing the team, however Schott seems to have zero imagination to try to play to the QBs strengths. Has the entire TE group gone into witness protection? Let's not forget the mental mistakes that are pervasive with Mark Richt coached teams. They've been widely bantered across the board, so there's no need to rehash that topic. The bottom line is that the problems are systemic. Until there is a culture change at the top, this team will continue to underachieve and disappoint.
