I received word on May 14 that it was a done deal, but as we always do, we allow the players to make the announcement.
That said, at the spring meetings, I asked Coach White if there was a chance they might add another player knowing they had two scholarships left at the time (Jaden Newell would receive the other one), he just smiled and said "we'll see."
Savo is a true point. He's a younger kid being that he's reclassifying from 2025, so it will be interesting to see how quickly he adjusts to this level of play.
But I can tell you they absolutely love him as a facilitator and someone who can dish the ball. Also a dangerous perimeter player.
