I purchased our first season tickets in 1975.
Over the decades I've, we've witnessed many years where becoming bowl eligible was the goal.
Years of humiliation in Knoxville, Jacksonville, Columbia, Atlanta where we seldom won a game.
The infamous "Shoe String" play in the 75 Cotton Bowl is just one example.
Although we had our magical seasons: 1976, 1980, 1981, 1982, the 90's and a few other times, we seldom had back to back to back Championship goals and years.
This is a magical time as we are the big boy on the block, and the fans of those teams are living through our low point years.
