in the Fox era and that is saying something. I had friends over for dinner and saw most of the fisrt half and ten minutes into the second. Here are the mental notes I was taking.
We are on a role with about 13 point lead and Fox puts HK in the ballgame and stalls us out.
It is evident about 7-8 minutes into the game we are not playing well mtm. Could be the travel, or matchups,doesn't matter, they are beating us off the dribble and we are fouling or giving layups or both. Should have gone zone early, but we don't. Result? They are in the bonus with nine minutes left in the half, Mate ends up fouling out and they make more fts than we take. Same story second half.
Still a ballgame in the second half with us leading and Fox goes to the worst lineup he can possibly put on the court and our lead is gone. Stays mtm.
Only checked in sporadically after that as I knew what would happen.
I have never called for Fox to be fired and never thought it was a good idea to talk about it during a season. But, this is beyond the pale. he needs to be gone. He has no feel whatsoever as to what is going on in a game. I can scarcely believe what I am seeing.
It truly hurts me to watch a team with so much potential being so mishandled.
I am asking/challenging anyone to tell me what did Fox tonight to help us win this game? Anything? I see it posted quite often that when we win many here don't bother to post because we only want o criticize. Which is bs for most posters here. But, please I want to hear what they saw that I missed. Maybe the last ten minutes I didn't see.
