...perhaps it is a sign that we are finally abandoning the status quo in Athens where the "next guy up" always seems to win the QB spot.
IMO, it would have been a much easier decision for CMR to announce Ramsey as the starter so you have to believe they chose GL for good reason (and perhaps it wasn't as close as many want to believe). Of course, this doesn't mean Ramsey still wont play and get his chance to win the starting job.
Watching some of the FSU/UVA game last night and GL others youtube videos.. it is obvious he has a solid arm and the ability to lead an offense but also needs to work on limiting bad decisions... that is coachable. I look forward to seeing how it plays out on the field....
Those bashing the decision are obviously doing so on an emotional basis as NOBODY outside of the coaches really have a clue who has performed better in fall camp.
