Some other thoughts after re-watching the D this morning:

- Bear & Brinson interior combo >>>> Logue & Stackhouse
- Great teaching game for LBs on the RPO/screen game
- Kent St does things offensively that UGA just doesn't see a lot of
- Would take Kent St QB over at least 5 other SEC starting QBs

Now, on to the data:

36 players played 10+ snaps
- 18 on offense and 18 on defense

Stetson Bennett:
- 87.1 first run passing grade
- 86.1% adjusted completion (4 drops) -- outside of really maybe 2-3 throws, was very accurate and played quite well.

- 25 of 32 for 238 yds and 1 Int from clean pocket
- Only pressured on 5 of 38 drop-backs
- just 6 of 11 for 54 yds when blitzed (69.4 passing grade)

- Screen plays -- 10 of 10 for just 52 yds -- this will need monitored moving forward (i.e. will teams know when these plays are coming & defend better)
- 8 of 12 for 93 yds and the Int on play-action
- On 20+ yd throws -- 1 of 4 for 20 yards and the Int (2 drops though -- 80.8 passing grade)

O-Line:
- 3 pressures allowed by Tate Ratledge (61.0 pass block grade)
- No starting linemen with a run block grade over 70.0

Rushing:
- 9 missed tackles forced (3 by Milton, 2 by Brock, 2 by KMac, 2 by Edwards)
- Edwards lead with 2.67 yards after contact per attempt
- Edwards only back over 5.0 yards per attempt (6.1)
- Six 10+ yard runs

Receiving:
- 8 players targeted at least 2 times
- Ladd had more drops in this game (3) than he's had in his career prior (2)
- Speaking of drops, Dom Blaylock has still yet to have a drop in his career (34 targets)

Defense:
- 8 missed tackles -- most since SEC Championship last year
- Only 5 total QB pressures -- Kent State's combo of RPO and quick game helped them immensely (also not many wins from the down 4 linemen)
- Kent State RB Cooper forced 5 missed tackles and had 3 10+ yd runs
- Jamon Dumas-Johnson led team with 4 "stops"
- quick screen turned 56-yd TD gets credited to Kamari Lassiter since it was technically his guy in coverage, but Christopher Smith obviously gets a negative grade for getting sucked inside on the TD.
