Although the wasted protoplasm levels in America would diminish overnight if all colleges except the military academies were shut down and their employees deported. But back to my first point. I have raised a child who was able to graduate an SEC school in 3 years, get work in the medical field immediately and advance to a 6 figure executive position quickly where she speaks to various gatherings at places like Duke, UNC and U Tx, Austin. Yet she returns from Orlando to the Atlanta airport this afternoon where her 2012 MB sedan has a flat tire. Unsure of what to do she panics and calls her mom (thank goodness I was at the tire store getting tires installed on my recent UGA grad daughter's vehicle) who drives 100 miles to Atl to first settle her down then call MB road service for her to get the tire changed. Or maybe it was Triple A since we have both. She arrives home (she has a condo but stays with us most of the time) and announces to me that she wants me to find her a new car tomorrow due to the flat tire episode. It had a nail in it, the tire.....
We are hosting her fiance for Thanksgiving (Navy pilot stationed in Texas). I intend to be the most gracious host in history as both my wife and I are ready for her to get married. Beautiful and sweet child, great career, never a problem but it's time for someone else to take over here.
