guy who will play in the League one day is interesting. I would love to see it, but i think best case scenario he is a late pick or signs a free agent, makes a Team and is a reserve player for a year or two before heading overseas. I have always said, NBA players at the most gifted, unique athletes in the world. Also, the NBA's popularity has gone global, its almost typical now that every teams an international quota they meet, they are trying to appeal to fans worldwide, not just the U.S. But enough of the Yante to the League talk, Yante is the PERFECT college basketball recruit for a coach, IMO. He was and is a kid who was physically ready to come in as a true Frosh and compete in the SEC AND was skilled enough to give you some production, and not being a prima Donna or a one and done kid and NOT being a high pro prospect gives you a kid who is skilled and can produce for 4 years, somebody you can build around. Kyle Singlar at Duke was a prime example, as is Malcom Brodgan.
