We've mentioned Jordan Louie, Jamarion Wilcox, Jaylen Johnson, and a couple others as guys UGA is looking at to fill that second running back spot in the 2023 class. There's now another name to keep an eye on in Peyton Streko.
Streko visited for the Vanderbilt game. He then decommitted from Air Force on Monday morning. He said he's been talking with Dell McGee a good bit recently and received an invite to the game last week.
"I got a text from him about coming to the game and that I'm high on his radar," Streko said.
Streko said he feels like McGee is now doing his research on him to find out all he needs to know about Streko as a player and a person. After the decommitment, Streko said he'll be looking at schools such as Georgia, Clemson, Duke, Virginia, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, and others.
He doesn't have an offer yet, but neither do those other guys listed above. Just a name to keep an eye on over the next few weeks as we head toward signing day.
