Another Nole beating on a woman

The girl that got punched by DeAndre Johnson kinda asked for it...
She was assaulted first. He grabbed her left arm before she did anything. Looking at that video, it's inarguably clear who the aggressor was. That guy's a piece of scum in my opinion. He's at the right school.

The whole "don't hit a woman" thing is really pissing me off. It's in a person's values...their morals. The fact that folks are crucifying this guy and calling for him to never have another crack at football is absurd. If we are going to say everyone is equal in the eyes of the law, issuing a harsher punishment simply because the person he hit is a female, is in fact sexist. If it had been another guy, Johnson would still be on the team. You can't pick and choose when it comes to equality - you are or you aren't. Legally, they should've both been charged as mutual combatants.

you ever Touch my woman....really?

Like I said, personal values aside, equality is equality - you can't pick and choose.

I will say this though - anyone, and I mean anyone ever square me in the sack I'll drop 'em like a hot brick.

Incorrect. He was the aggressor and assaulted her first. Legally what should happen is happening. I agree though; the fact that she is female has nothing to do with it.

If you assault someone, expect and deserve a kick in the nuts.

His mama and Jimbo said that he was good people. Internal investigation by FSU will prove this out. One of his homey's said that he was just getting ready to head to the homeless shelter to volunteer his services. May have to let him sit out a quarter vs Podunk State. It's all good. Nothing to see here.

agree...he's a good kid. they were drunk, it happens.

Just another case of "The Man" trying to keep a good kid from realizing his dream to make it in "the league" Jimbo will work his magic on this one.

In general, IYO?

Figure it this way. My picture's scarier than your stage name, but have we proven anything yet? I do know that my first option with a confrontational woman especially a drunk one is definitely not to hit her........unless she's packing heat and reaching for it. Each to his own. I also believe that when a "manly man" organization, like a men's college football team/program starts to embrace the idea that it is okay to defend yourself against a female, whether she's attacking you physically or verbally, by throwing punches, we as a culture have reached an all time low. In 3rd and 4th grade, fighting girls may be okay, as females tend to be bigger and stronger than us guys at that age, but once we physically become "adults," we men almost always have a considerable strength advantage, and can effectively defend rather than attack. Some of us, though, wear our feelings on our sleeves and if anyone looks at us the wrong way (male, female, animal), we get our feelings hurt. We think we're being "disprespected" (God forbid) and we feel justified in getting dirt road mad right off the bat. Not a good tact. Not a good plan. Not a good result in most cases. That's my opinion. You have yours. My advice to you would be to stay away from single minded, strong willed (typically successful) women.
