Lightning win 3-1 and are now up 2-0 in the Stanley Cup Finals. Every Tampa major professional team has made the championship game this decade (and if it weren't for a moronic decision to pull Blake Snell, every team would've WON their respective championship).
The W for DeSantis in this instance is the fact that while the Lightning tonight had the maximum capacity allowed by the NHL (18,600) -- thanks to his leadership -- Fidel Castro Jr. will not allow the Montreal Canadiens to increase their capacity from only 3,500 fans for their home games. This obviously gives the Lightning another huge advantage for this series.
It would be very unlike the French and French-Canadiens to be a bunch of surrendering pussies, so I expect the Lightning to need 5 games to win their second straight Cup instead of 4.
