... you ran into any unforeseen issues in doing so?

My 12-month contract with my current gas provider is set to expire in less than two weeks. I've been with this same provider for almost eight years. They've dropped their per-therm price offering (for a new 12-month contract) in order to match (actually, slightly beat) the promotional rate being offered by another provider (for a 12-month contract). But, this "other provider" also is offering 10,000 Delta Skymiles for signing up for a 12-month contract, and you get 2 Skymiles for every dollar you spend with them. That is kind of attractive, especially to get that initial 10,000 miles.

I figure that after this 12-month contract I'll be able to take advantage of a promotional rate with my current provider.

QT is to convenience stores what Chick-Fil-A is to fast food restaurants.*
