I used to buy my son a sealed set every year on his birthday from '89 til about '95
BIL gave my son his collection of three big cardboard boxes full. Never looked at any if those.
Been stored away for 10+ yrs.
I might go through them one day...prolly not.
Maybe when son is my age he'll have something to look at.

I got 3 Mark McGuire rookie cards, 2 Barry Bonds RCs, &

a Jose Canseco RC card I will trade you for an RC (soda) & a moonpie.

Full sets from the late 80's and early 90's aren't worth but about 20 bucks

So many of them were produced...value is VERY low.....

They are worth keeping to show your Son though, no doubt.

1990 Frank Thomas Error card on ebay for $3500. Only year I couldn't get a

Sealed set. Pretty sure the guy I was buying them through was going through them looking for one.

Don't collect anymore but I've also got a good collection

going back to the 50's thru late 80's.

50's include some players like (Rookie) Koufax, Aaron, Mays, Snider, Mantle, Banks, Musial, Killebrew
60's include Rose, Mantle, Brock, Clemente, Gibson, Maris, Yaztrzemski, Seaver, Ryan, Robinson, Bench
70's (Rookie) Schmidt, Carlton, Brett, Winfield, Carew

Just 2 M Mantle rookie cards and one of Babe Ruth...

...when he was with the Red Sox. I use 'em under the legs of a wobbly table in the garage to help balance it.

i stopped in early '70s...mostly baseball cards and 'Coons football

cards. rest went into trash yrs ago.

About 90% of 62 Topps. I had about 20 Mantle cards and sold them all except one about 30 years ago when I was broke. I made a lot of bad moves with baseball and football cards from the 50s and 60s.

I have some of my old ones. My favorite cards are my USFL sets.

They only created cards for the USFL for two seasons. I think they were 1984 and 1985. I have the entire 1985 set. I have the entire 1984 set minus about 10 star rookie cards. I do have the Herschel rookie card. I also have the Reggie White rookie card. but, dang, that 1984 set is chock full of a very impressive number of rookie cards. Steve Young, Jim Kelly, Herschel, Anthony Carter, Mike Rozier, and many more.

A fellow had the complete 1984 set and I was able to buy the entire set (the box included, minus the really expensive rookie cards that he had separated for individual sale. I bought a few of the rookie cards but I don't have all of them. They're really expensive.

I did buy the entire 1985 set, the box included. I think it has a couple of nice rookie cards in it. Doug Flutie comes to mind.
