In looking at the schedule, I noticed something that does make me worry a bit.
the last 3 weeks of the season, we have:
Auburn (Spread Option, heavy run)
Ga Southern (Option, heavy run)
Ga Tech (Option, heavy run)
Anyone else worried that 3 weeks in a row of having the ball rammed at us for 60 minutes is going to lead to some beat up, injured and worn-down players?
I understand the idea behind scheduling Ga Southern, so we get a "warm up" for Tech coming into town...
But the Gators will tell you that Ga Southern doesn't just show up to pick up the check... they will punch you in your nuts and step on your face.
I just wish that maybe we had Southern before these games, and put one of the easy-cupcakes in between.
That's 3 weeks of some very physical, beat you over the head style of football.
We can do it, certainly... but its not gonna be (never is) easy!
