I've done it many times with a shoulder and picnic/butt. Just not sure if there is enough fat on that chunk of pig to cook slow all day. I hope there is, cause I'm planning on it with homemade mole' , black beans and fried plantains.............

Yes, and here's how:

Put a stick of butter, One packet of Onion Gravy powder and One envelope of Au Jus mix
and let it sit all day on low. It's the best roast I've ever had. I thought it was BS until I tried it,
but that stick of Butter keeps it juicy and moist. Make sure it's real Butter.
Also some people add a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing powder too.

Thanks Feral.................**

I haven't been ading the stick of butter just adding 3/4 cup of water.

I do use the Ranch dressing packet.

I'll have to give the butter a try.

Pork loin + bottle of mojo and let it go for a while.

Then make some black beans and rice and have a nice cuban meal. We usually do this every other week.
