It has not even occurred to me until now to see how my travel plans would align with the college football playoffs... I'm flying back from Colorado on New Year's Eve and will be landing in Atlanta at 4:55 pm! Ugh!... So assuming UGA is indeed in the playoffs, I'm a bit screwed if were the early game with a 3:30 pm start.
So, has anyone ever watched a game live in the air??? I know Delta offers live TV but I've never used it before. I always watch movies if I bother using the seatback monitor. I know Delta does indeed carry ESPN. So that much is good.
If UGA is the early game I guess my plan now is to watch the first half on the plane and then get through the airport as quickly as possible and to a hotel to watch remainder of 2nd half.
Wish I had planned this better. Maybe I'll get lucky and we'll be the late game... Though if UGA is #1 and Cincy makes it in as the #4 seed I would think that guarantees were the 3:30 pm start.
