Anyone else hear Jay Jacobs on Sirius yesterday? Like everyone else on here, I can't stand the program, but, I was struck by his passion for Auburn and him talking about that it is a 24/7 job to make every team better everyday. You could hear in his voice that his commitment to win never stops.
Look, I know his commitment probably means he will live on the edge when playing by the rules, but. I'm just not sure McGarrity has the same fire in his belly. Maybe I'm wrong, but Jacobs just seems to be selling his programs better than we sell ours. I know everyone's personality is different and McGarrity cares, it just doesn't come across the same. Perception is reality sometimes and I think it is here.
