Islam, the religion of peace. Does that (or any other) "religion" not reflect the true nature of its followers? Does the true nature of its followers dictate how that religion is written as well as how it is practiced and followed?
Tribal tendencies dwell in all of us (SEC football anyone?). Are tribal tendencies stronger (more about war than games) in some parts of the world than others? Should tribal factions within a region or country be considered and honored as critical parts of a greater good for a religion or a government, or a religious government or a governmental religion? Or should they be monitored and controlled? Is it wrong for us to try to define intentions as we strive to understand motivations within these different factions, sects and religions?

And at what point of definition, understanding and conciliation does a very large shark, who no longer wants to be called a shark (because of negative loan and lawyer and business metaphors) , become less dangerous or not dangerous at all?

Great post. I think the whole world has lost their minds trying to patronize the religion of peace. Like send your child to spend the night with michael jackson and blaming your child if something bad happens. A peaceful follower of the religion of peace would be denouncing the terrible things occurring in the name of islam. We lift the sanctions from Iran and then give them 150 billion dollars, so they can really bolster their nuclear program. Where has common sense gone, this is after the are chanting death to America in the streets of Iran. They believe any non believer of islam is an infidel. Infidels should according to their book be:
1) Convert to islam
2) enslave or
3) put to death
Pretty straightforward, I do not think we give them enough credit for the damage they can do to a civilized society. They act as if they come in peace, then take over and exert their laws on a region they populate.

How can people, regardless of their religion, trust a religion that teaches Taqiyya (Tark-e-ya) - Disimulation or Deception, or the synonymous term Kitman - concealment of malevolent intentions?

For example- CAIR - Council on American-Islamic Relations - is a front group for Hamas. Does anyone, in their right minds, trust this group now living, working, and lobbying directly with the Federal Government?

It is like the bizzarro world where "Right is wrong and wrong is now right!"
The frustrating part is wondering how the rest of the world can not see this.

The rest of the world does see it for what it is. It frightens them, but most people of the world (most every country) are sheep, holding hands while singing "We are the world." MOST of the world would wear thongs and flip flops while choosing to walk on their hands as their only transportation if it meant they would not have to physically confront anyone.

I would rather die fighting that live that way!
