Think about how improbable getting 45 homeruns, 100 RBI's, 106 runs, 124 walks is, while batting .196 is. This would make McGwire, Chris Davis, Rob Deer and Dave Kingman weep with envy.
He has made this all or nothing approach (with his 212K's) justifiable. Amazing.
Incidentally, the only other players to get 45, 100, 100, 100 are all in Cooperstown except Judge and that's a formailty... Babe Ruth, Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, Lou Gehrig, Chipper Jones, Judge, Harmon Killebrew, Ralph Kiner, Mickey Mantle, Willie McCovey, Mike Schmidt and Jim Thome.
Schwarber's year isn't better, but it's waaay more amazing for how much positive he shoehorned in beside the bad.
