I knew you would know how to spell it-you being from bammer. You do know what the perception of bammer is from the rest of the states-don't you. How do you spell community in bammer?

Really? Sounds like someone has a slight case of envy. Further what part do you play in making what ever part of America you are from free of "buffons"....Having traveled for 25 years from coast to coast and border to border I found no such free of "buffons" areas including my home state of Georgia and long time state of Texas. And I guess if Kirby wins the natty in the next few then us residents and fans in Georgia should keep quiet to keep from bringing attention to our last or near last standing in several social areas and educational test scores.

I really don't keep a current list of fatasses per square mile although I lived in Florida for some time (Windermere) and managed to educate my children at a private school in a state which had horrible public education and didn't even maintain curbs and sidewalks for the most part. No state income taxes will do that. Some of the pop of Florida were second generation, yellow haired, side of the road peanut entreprenuers (boiled or parched) with their fatass wives or concubines doing the selling. Migrants not from Mexico but Tennessee, the Carolinas, Alabama, and yes Georgia. And wonderful folks for the most part. Or runaways from legal probs from other states. I can today tell when a crime is committed in Florida just by the ghastly nature of it when the T.V. announcer starts giving the gory details before he even says the word Florida. With a liberal blend of azzholes from "up east"....Although I have to say I met some great people in Florida and it is the most naturally beautiful place in America. The park system is glorious.

I do wish I were in better shape. 70 will do that for you but since I am comfortably retired I am able to walk and maintain a daily 20 minute workout in my wife's gym. Weigh 195 over 6'3 which is fairly normal I spose. How about you? Guess you are comfortably retired as well since you are on here all the time. My part time consultancy allows me to travel and still argue with many underemployed working age know it alls who like me, have nothing better to do.

Again, I'm fairly satisfied with my status and don't need the affirmation or reassurance of throwing rocks at others to feel good about myself. There are both good and bad everywhere. Living just above the knat line I hear south Georgians occasionally speak disparagingly of Atlanta and the huge influx of minorities. Having a client in Atlanta I sense many of those folks hold south Georgians in social disdain and the influx of immigrants around Gainesville at arm's length. That's everywhere USA. Georgia is a great place to live and work, with Savannah my favorite spot but the mountains are euphoric as well. Hell, even Saban has a place on the lake, LOL! But to hold entire states in disdain because of the perceived failure of my own chosen university's football program to measure up to some mythical status would be to me the ultimate acknowledgement of my seeming lack of self worth. BS to the power of 100. Some other school can win 10 straight natty's and that means nothing more than their expertise at that and does not slight my school or me in the least. Unless my self worth is somehow tied to a football team. So I don't think you are envious "of a state" but I do feel you are measuring your self worth through the accomplishments of your chosen U's football squad and by extension the self worth of the fans of another school's through the things that school has done. So yes you are envious of those fan's school accomplishments. But have at it, there are far worse things. Understand however you hold yourself up to occasional ridicule when you go over board doing so. I am a Georgia fan, a Kirby Smart fan with a child who just finished a quality Georgia education. I dislike most other major football programs in bordering states. But not the schools (youngest is entering grad school @ AU shortly). And I understand fan is a derived from fanatic. But football does not define my values nor personal outlook on myself or others.
