Baseball is unpredictable over a 3-5 game stretch....

Obviously disappointed, but the best team over the course of a season doesn’t always win in this format. It seems to favor the “hot” team.

In 8 of 16 regionals, the host team is either in the losers bracket or eliminated. Even UCLA, who’s been the #1 team pretty much all season is in the losers bracket.

I’m not sure what the answer is for us to get better in the post season, just some observations.
