Betcha if the Masters fixed Livermush that it would be good.

The only bad food item they have is the fried chicken sandwich and...

it's probably no worse than most mass produced fried chicken sandwiches. The problem is; the old one was made by a local chicken place and was incredible. The new one is just food.

It is still a little jinky that you only get one green jacket.........

no matter how many times you win it. They have the money build bigger champion's lockers.

The members take great pride in having old, faded, worn looking...

jackets. An old customer of mine who is a friend and huge Dawg fan owns a dry cleaners who does all the cleaning of the jackets. I went in there one year in the fall when he was cleaning all of them before the club opened for the "season". It was cool seeing all those jackets with members and winners names sewn into them and how old some of them looked. He told me he replaces buttons, does some minor repairs, etc but no one ever gets a new jacket unless they really outgrow them.

Just curious JC but do you know what they do to the jacket if..........

a member or champion dies?

Not sure, but I think they give them to the widow/family...

I know a few members, I'll ask about that.

Thanks so the jacket will eventually Leave Augusta National,interesting....

I know it is a little morbid but ask your member friends if they can be buried in it.

Thanks. Love that place, was there Tues and Wed but really big tvs and......

Being able to see every shot on that tv has made me not go on the weekends anymore.

We're opposites, nothing like the electricity in the air on Sunday if...

there is a close race at the top, especially if there are four or five within a few strokes of each other. I even stay for the green jacket ceremony if I'm there on Sunday.

I'd rather watch paint dry than go to the practice rounds.

Yeah I just don't want to be 10 deep trying to follow people. I like.......

The practice rounds and the par 3 because I can walk the course and have a phone and a camera plus I get clubhouse credentials so it's cool to have a great day seeing the course and a great dirty martini or three.

I usually go in early, park a chair on 15 green or the hill by 16 and....

then walk around and check things out and drink a few beers and look at the smoking hot women. I'll go back to my chair when the leaders are about on number 9 and watch everyone come through. Once the leaders leave 15 or 16, I walk up to 18 to watch the finish. It's very interesting to hang around for the jacket ceremony. Most people leave and it's neat to see all the members come out and see the champion come back out without the jacket. It's generally dark when I get back to the car.

If I go Saturday afternoon, after the leaders play through 15, I go to the car and go home and watch the last few holes on tv.

Amen. I'm completely with U on the Masters experience...one & done here..

...can't see Shat if U walk the course because of the campers around every green/tee.

TPC in Jax....much more enjoyable in person being able to follow someone. Same with the Heritage...as good a party setting as there is on Tour. And U can actually walk the course, follow a player, and see some golf.

That said, Masters is best TV golf and no other tournament comes close.
