Probably why he is so successful. Good article. He sees reality before others and changes with it. It isn’t a pro trump article for any refusing to read it. It is someone realizing the problem so many have been clamoring about. When the media starts doing the governments bidding we are f’ed. And they also shouldn’t be called the media anymore.

The WaPo lost @ $70 million the last 3-4 years , per year. If he closed it tomorrow he would save money. All these fools that are working for him are being subsidized by him alone and yet they are blinded by their ideals .

It is a government propaganda tool for the cia and other intel agencies. Has been that way for a long time. Bezos is just doing his part by providing government subsidized jobs for mouthpiece tools. Same as every government job including university professors and admin. Government subsidized jobs for people who cannot be productive members of society but can regurgitate books better than anyone else. If you can't do anything you teach college.

Agreed. But this has been something lefty rags have been doing for years. Slanted coverage as well. This is a guy buying into the media heavily saying people don’t believe reporting anymore. There is a disconnect. We need to fix it. First by staying neutral in elections. Reporting the news without ideology influence. It is a breath of fresh air to hear from him and the LA times owner. They didn’t endorse trump either.

That part of it is an enormous deal. Biden hid behind the cover of the media. Kamala is a complete media creation. She was the worst vp of all time. It is good to hear this. Imo.

The richest man in the world (musk) has been pro trump recently,...the second richest man in the world (bezos)has just recently become indifferent to the 2024 election when his newspaper has endorsed a dem for 50 years, the CEO of the largest bank in the USA/world (dimon) just became indifferent to the election after wanting to work in a Harris admin,....big money managers and the super rich are covering their rear end at the last minute because the writing is on the wall

I would imagine newspaper endorsements were a thing all the way into the 50s and 60s. Trust in the media likely started to wane in the 70 and then Reagan figured out how to talk past the media and take his case directly to the voting public. In today's market, I would imagine at least half the population under 50 couldn't name 5 writers on their local paper, WAPO or the NY Times.
