Big picture: could be wrong but the way CKS and co have been playing so many players early is the blueprint of the future…

Hear me out: we have been playing Eerrbody so far in these games apart from the majority of the sc game. With a tougher ( I’m assuming ) SEC schedule and with an extended playoff, teams are going to have to play a lot of young guys earlier just for duration’s sake and especially if they want to compete in the expanded playoff. The more snaps you can get guys and the earliest you can get them, the better. This will become more and more common for coaching staffs with the foresight of building depth and experience even if it means not ringing up 70 points against smaller schools. I think we see less of these games where teams are winning 63-0 and a little bit sloppier football overall especially earlier in the year.
