We have a rural problem. Tank cleaning for chicken farms is being spread on farmland, lots of farmland, as a fertilizer. It stinks, neighbors cannot use their yards, you can smell it miles away. It’s a question of WHEN not IF now.

Yeah, I think "serial passage experiments" is another way of saying "gain of function" which has been outlawed in the US, supposedly.
