Nop blue bell is where it's atStick to Tennessee-based Mayfield. Much better.
Harris County today.Where are you? None in Saint Simons yet
Edy's is ok in sort of a journeyman, backup way. Actually the best mainstream, readily available ice cream is Haagen Daz but explosively rich in calories and if you get started and can't stop like I get and devour a quart at a time you can be miserable afterward. BB would be next on the chain but only by a neck. Trust me, I am a junkie and know. The custard is slightly better than the standard stuff but still a .250 batting avg on a good day. They are selling Baskin Robbins by the pint size now and that's good too. Specially the pecan types.Edys slow churn is about the best thing going at the grocery in the way of ice cream...their custard is worth trying as well.

Ben and Jerry's is the winner and it's not even close. Your two selections are very good as well.Blue Bell and Haagen Daz are the best, nothing is better.
You can't hand churn it any better.
