Help me understand the strategy of taking 8 pitchers and 1 catcher in the first 9 rounds. Love the first two picks as I think both will be studs. However, the Braves seriously lack offensive prospects outside of Nacho and Baldwin. I get that they have several guys locked up at the MLB level, but as we’ve seen- injuries can play a roll in any season. I just don’t get it… they practically did the same thing last year.
