No kidding. Much better for a beginner to start with a .22, and then move on to .204 or .223. As a matter of fact, my favorite varmint rifle is a Remington Model 7 chambered in .223. If I'm chasing down a really big hog, I'll pick up my Rossi Lever in .30-30, but any bigger and the fun kinda stops.30.06 is a heck of a handful for a beginner and absolutely no fun to target shoot, unless you're some kind of masochist.
Bringo(deathdawg) is correct. Make offer(made many and accepted). Bought a lot of guns online. Slick guns has a feature that you can find cheapest online price for a particular gun. Accurate most of time. Also I am very well-I know you just want to be my best friend. Bought approx. 40 guns in last 2 years. Have close to 200. Worked with a guy that bought so many ATF made a visit.I assume he's referring to entry level 30.06 but you never know. He's not well.
